Ha!<br /><br />I do disagree with you though - I believe I see *most* of the areas I write that are not properly worded, even though I think like that. I attribute it to being left-handed. (weird I know) But I constantly word things backwards. I am not just saying this to toot your horn, but this article is no question the most beneficial article I have read in terms of what I should do in order to land a book deal. THANK YOU.<br /><br />On a sidenote, I wrote query letters to roughly 50 literary agents in December of 2009. I used one of my personal favorite stories as the sample material and directed them to read more at my blog. Need less to say, every agent cordially declined to represent me which was disheartening at the time, but now that I look back at it I didn&#39;t realize how unprepared I was. <br /><br />I didn&#39;t realize how much work there was to do in terms of making your blog look more presentable. I also didn&#39;t realize how blatant of an offender I was at not using paragraphs as much needed. It took me weeks to edit everything the way I want it, and now I have incorporated pictures of a &quot;mullet man&quot; character (me with hair extensions and hillbilly teeth from Spencers, topped off with cut-off jean shorts and a cut-off t-shirt) that I created into every past and current post. The &quot;mullet man&quot; pictures are always relevant to the topic of the article. Rick &quot;The Mullet Man&quot; Suave is like my blog&#39;s mascot. <br /><br />I am hoping the modifications I made will achieve positive results. I am also hoping that the literary agents who I wrote query letters to, don&#39;t recognize my name and automatically delete my email query because they remember browsing my material and not feeling like they could represent me the first time I submitted. I am thinking if they get thousands of queries per year, hopefully the memory of my name escapes them. <br /><br />I have one question regarding your article. I am from a rural Iowa, where there really isn&#39;t an abundance of editors that I am aware of. Is there anywhere I could get this done with my work online?
